MT4 Trader (MetaTrader 4)MetaTrader 4 is an online currency trading platform. It provides easy access to the global foreign exchange market with a comprehensive set of features to allow you to make trades, analyse charts and indicators and develop strategies for trading. It has a straight forward interface organised around the key areas of orders, charting, and quotes however it also contains a rich set of analytical tools which make it very popular with technical traders.
LatitudeFX is an MT4 forex broker catering for the New Zealand and Australian traders which unlike traditional FX brokers, provides full Straight Through Processing (STP), that means we pass your position directly into the market at the time of the trade. We believe that unless a company operates STP, there is an inherent conflict of interest. FX brokers not operating an STP model will generally only make money when you lose. Fully regulated, highly experienced, and with bank level security, LatitudeFX is your perfect partner for your Forex trading needs. Download MT4 MetaTraderPlease Note that in addition to downloading the MT4 software you should also get either a Free Practice Demo Account or a Live Trading Account. |
The MT4 Trader platform can be used as a live demo which allows you to trade with live data in real time while not committing any real money (Demo Account). Once you have had an opportunity to practice trading and get familiar with the MT4 Platform you can apply for a live account and start making real trades (Live Account). You can use MQL4 to create custom Expert Advisors, Indicators, Scripts, and Libraries. An expert advisor is a Mechanical Trading System (MTS) and is connected to a particular chart. It is capable of trading automatically or can be used to inform you of trading opportunities. You can write MQL4 code using the MetaEditor which comes with the MetaTrader application.
