How we handle your money. When it comes to handling your money, we know that Forex Traders want two things:
• Security. You need to be sure your money will be safe. LatitudeFX adheres to client funds regulation, in the use of segregated funds accounts. • Availability. You need to be able to deposit and withdraw funds easily and on demand. You also need to be able to monitor your account easily. With this in mind we've established a robust and reliable system for handling your money: • When you become a client we open a LatitudeFX Client Account for you. Funds are placed in our segregated funds account held at ASB Bank - one of New Zealand's major banks. ASB consistently ranks No.1 for customer service, has a 150 year history and is independent of LatitudeFX.
When you open a position, a margin is set aside from your LatitudeFX client account for the duration of the trade.
• Unrealised Profits or losses are credited or debited to your LatitudeFX Client Account according to the system calculated mark to market valuation of your open position. • Upon close-out of your position the profit or loss is credited or debited to your LatitudeFX Client Account. • The margin used for the trade is returned to your account. • Interest earned on funds in your LatitudeFX Client Account is also credited to this same account. For criteria and rates see our rates page. • You can monitor your LatitudeFX Client Account via your personal account logons.
Depositing Funds.
Depositing funds to your LatitudeFX Client Account is easy. The best way is online via direct deposit. You can also deposit cheques or cash.
Withdrawing Funds. Withdrawing is easy. To withdraw funds, simply email a withdrawal form to admin@latitudefx.co.nz specifying the amount you would like to withdraw. We will act on the email immediately and advise you of it's completion. Please note: the minimum withdrawal amount is $200.
Any Restrictions? • Funds can be withdrawn as soon as they have cleared, but not before, except in the case of credit cards, see credit card policy. • You can only withdraw funds that are not required to cover your margin. Funds over and above your margin are called the "Free Equity" portion and can be withdrawn at any time. • You can only transfer funds from your LatitudeFX Client Account to a bank account held in your name. So if you want to use funds in your LatitudeFX Client Account to pay a third party, you will first have to transfer the money to your bank account and then transfer it to the third party from there. |
